+Charles Olsen left a comment on one of my previous videos regarding his experience with adding an aquarium air pump to the units. I had one waiting in the wings, but this gave me an excuse to get some check valves, new air line, air stones and some splitters to divide the lines amongst each unit.
I’ll state right now, I may have to adjust these. The smaller 3SL I have is getting a ton of air to it being at the end of the line, where some of the larger units are not seeing as much out of their runs.
Noise level is also up. I can still hear the trickle of water from my desk, (Which I enjoyed) but the pump itself is way louder. I may swap the pump out for the other I bought to see if it’s any quieter.
