Hydroponics Nutrients and How to Prepare Nutrient Water. The Measurements that I use in this video are based on every 5 gallons of water that you use in your tank. I use Masterblend 4-18-38 Calcium Nitrate 15.5-0-0 and Epson Salt. For every 5 gallons of water you want to use 10g of Calcium Nitrate, 10g of Masterblend, and 5g of the Epson Salt. I keep my PH between 6.4 – 6.7. This was just a 2 week point where I needed to add more nutrients. Next time I will do a complete dump of the reservoir.
