Hello friends! In this video we are going to learn how to make hydroponic nutrient solution which is cheap and easy to do in your home.
Making your own hydroponic nutrient solution at home would save you lot of time and money over the ready made solution you normally would find at a hydroponic store.
Below Ratio of mixture is only good for 5 Liter of water:
10 gram of 19-19-19 NPK (40%)
10 gram of Calcium Nitrate (40%)
5 gram of Epsom Salt (10%)
Hope this helps. this is not a fits all solution, just what I use personally, feel free to change the recipe to your requirements as needed.
What are hydroponic nutrient solutions?
Hydroponic nutrient solution is a liquid filled with all of the necessary nutrients that can be applied directly to the plant’s root system and nourish the plant under cultivation.
Essential nutrients are macronutrients and micronutrients. Macronutrient are nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and sulfur (S). Micronutrients are iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), chlorine (Cl), boron (B), zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), molybdenum (Mo), and nickel (Ni).
Plants require all of these macronutrients and micronutrients collectively for their growth and development. Amount of these nutrients required for plant varies based on the stages of growth.
