Ross Raddi

Oh, I just saw it up under your name. Thanks.
What zone are you in Ross?
Great job Ross, thanks for the information….my uncle uses a controlled thermostat plug adapter and a gutter heat wire to keep things warm "enough". Another man I know build a 10X6 5ft. deep- root cellar does not get below 38 degrees in there has his butternut, figs pumkins etc.etc. etc. in their as well.Interesting how people will have different methods to keep alive there fig trees. Pretty cool!
Glue or tape some Mylar to the plywood to reflect heat off the wood if you’re afraid of fire. Great job man! Thanks for sharing!
how about a couple sheets of concrete board to make 3 sided fire proof box for that heater to set down in…
hey Ross, do you spray your fruit trees and figs trees with dormant oil/lime sulphur? I noticed in another one of your videos that your peach tree was suffering from shot hole disease/canker? The dormant sprays might solve that problem. Thanks
G00D Morning from Auckland, New Zealand it’s Friday, November 29, 2019.
I don't see a fire problem with that plywood but just in case staple aluminum foil over the plywood. . If I had a similar set up I would consider directing the heat into a cindernblock tunnel or some something of that sort . . Gallon jugs of water bottles water have the best heat absorption and dispensation. I use plastic wrapped cases of 8oz Water bottles a foot away from my wood heater without any melting, last winter. But that is too much work if you only needed to use the heater for 10 nights during the cold season
Maybe put a couple of buckets of water in front of the heater to create some moisture?
For some reason my figs refuse to go dormant
Ross, what kind of heater do you use for the greenhouse? Do you have a link by chance? Happy Thanksgiving
Good video Ross, trying to figure out what works ,to cold to hot no sun to much sun , heater no heater the more you try the more confusing it gets , good luck getting them thru the winter and have a happy Thanksgiving.
Hey Ross, for some reason I don't get notifications for your live feed. Any suggestions???
