This was my first greenhouse. It used a cob foundation, cull wood, rigid insulation I purchased for roughly 4 cents per square foot at an auction, a 350 gallon water tank that I tested an aquaponics system with, a rocket stove, a solar powered water pump to distribute water, free recycled windows as wall glazing and 4-layer 8 mm polycarbonate panels for the ceiling. I tested several types of roofing glazing before resolving that the multi-layer polycarbonate is optimal.
