In this video I will discuss the importance of a knee wall in the design of a passive solar greenhouse. The kneewall lifts the front vent wall and when you add it to the height of the vent wall sets the front height of the greenhouse which is important from an ergonomics perspective. The knee wall also allows space for snow to accumulate in the winter ensuring that the vents can operate without obstruction.
