University launches solar greenhouse on campus

The University of Alberta and Exceed Solar officially launched the first high-tech, solar-powered greenhouse at the university in Edmonton. The Solar Greenhouse was funded through the U of A’s Energy Management and Sustainable Operations department and will be used for research in aquaponics, renewable energy design and application, and sustainable food production.
