In this video, Rob Avis talks about how important orientation is right and why most people think about it incorrectly. After this video, you will understand what makes a proper passive solar greenhouse orientation to optimize sun when you want it most (in the morning) and when you want it least (in the late afternoon). Believe it or not, you can orient your greenhouse up to 45 degrees off of south and still get a good result. The ideal orientation, however, is slight to the east of south.
