how long does polycarbonate last?
No matter how well you design a greenhouse, you will always come up with the improved version "after" you`ve built it 😉

How old is your polycarbonate and how is it performing in your harsh winters? I'm concerned about snow load and ice build up due to constant thawing and freezing (USDA Zone 3, like you) during winter months.

I'm happy after hearing your thoughts on greenhouse design. Ive just started working on thermal mass in my greenhouse. Check it out if you would like. I've got a big old concrete sump tank under the greenhouse about 250gallon or so which I'm keen to fill up with water and perhaps store some heat from the day in there.. you can just see some ply covering the entrance in my latest video 🙂
Doesn’t polycarbonate have a very similar angle of refraction to glass?
