The Rain Harvesting Greenhouse [High Desert]

Rain harvesting micro-climates are important for desert dwellers entering the age of climate disruption. Especially in times when we struggle with drought, protected spaces for growing food are essential for adaptation.
Amanda shows you one successful rain harvesting greenhouse at Ampersand and all that can be grown inside. The video includes seedling production, soil building, summer and winter gardens. This is at Ampersand’s off-grid Permaculture center where they rely on rainwater harvesting and work towards zero waste.
