Use these downspouts to grow some of your own food, especially leafy greens such as lettuce, kale, collards, etc. Baby greens are expensive but not so if you grow your own. We grow mostly with off grid non circulating hydroponics, no pumps to clog or fail. With this garden system, almost anyone, anywhere can grow some of their own food. Much love.

  2. Hello, Just found your site as the towers I were looking at too expensive. Just purchased downspouts. And hoping we can do this in Arizona climate. Would help online advice with planting in hot climates. We get dry and then in monsoon season humid. Do we order mineral mix separately after our kit packs run out? Thanks a bunch!

  3. Just starting to grow microgreens and am hoping to move them to a downspout. Your pack choy always looks great. Thanks for all the videos, I have learned so much.

  5. Hi Mike,
I've never expressed my thanks to you for all you contribute through your channel. The videos always contain some humor or uplifting element. It's been more than 2 years that I've been watching and learning from you. I've visited other sites based on your suggestions and links – for more info on Kratky method, micro greens, styrofoam floats for growing, growing in lidded storage totes, and more.
I've just ordered 2 downspout gardens from your etsy store. I am greatful that you offered 50% off the downspout garden. I've intended to make my own by now, but my hands are not what they used to be.
I have most of the other supplies: containers, fert, noodles, seeds, etc. I look forward to finally growing using your system.
Thank you so very, very, much.

Oh. And please tell your wife and doggies that I appreciate them too.

  6. Thanks for the videos – they’re super helpful! I’m thinking of starting my own hydroponics garden but need to know if i need a pump? It looks like a lot of your little gardens don’t need pumps. What determines if you need to use one or not? Thanks in advance!!
