This is amazing
This is an adapted rain gutter grow system to my eye. With regard your air pipe, could you not put the rigid air tube or garden hose on the outside and run air lines, in via the top, either side of the plant position. This would negate the need to take the tube out to clean. You could add nutrient water manually or by a float switch. I have similar but wick via a pot as you mentioned but without air.

Brent, instead of the smaller internal pipe try a soaker hose
You can then connect water and air to it for even flow along its full length

very cool, I thought about using the rectangle downspouts instead, a few of other farms are using.
