Nice to see you get one more video posted. Hope the move treats you well. The new home will require some learning to find the ideal spots to garden, like you mention in your walk around. Maybe a couple saw horses would make a temporary home for your gutter system. You have me considering using a downspout, based off your results. Personally, I am wondering if a darker color like brown would help eliminate algae formation. Heat tolerant greens would be nice to see, along with possibly micro dwarf tomatoes, cloning, or even onions and garlic.
All of my Russian Kale failed to thrive in my first downspout grow; while my Swiss Chard are doing fine. So maybe see how you do with kale? And next I'm going to try spinach…have you done that before? And did I catch sight of some Bull's Blood beet greens in this video? How would they grow in a hydro cup…would a beet actually grow in the cup? Would they need a larger hole to allow them to "size up?" Looking forward to seeing your new set-up, Mike!
