I had questionable success storing strawberries in the fridge for a few weeks. Oh, they looked very healthy after that length of time, but didn’t take off in the greenhouse. There could be other factors for that. Since I’m moving the strawberries to another location anyway and I like to experiment, let’s give it a go! _______________________________________

Hydroponic Gardening & More with Brent

How did this work for you? I have some seedlings that I want to halt growth, and im thinking that keeping them in a refrigerator will do just that.
Will they survive like that because I currently have tinny sprouts and it’s going to be winter it doesn’t get that cold where I live but we do get frost at night do u think it would be good once they get bigger to store them like this ?
But if you can store them in the fridge, why couldn't they survive the winter on their own?
All right you got them started. I'm curious to see how they do with the water in the container. How cold is your refrigerator ?
Curious, why not just cover them where they were and move them in the spring? I like to experiment too, and will look forward to seeing what happens. Strawberries are my all time favorite thing to grow.
