Have you tried vinegar instead of bleach. I Googled & found this.
Vinegar can also be used to rid of algae. Use a mixture of water and white vinegar to spray down the area and kill the algae.
Any problems with aphids on the pak choy?
I love all the inspiration. I'll be keeping my eye out for good containers!

Its pretty cool that you are still doing the micro's Mike. No drought or fires here in Australia this year, so I am excited to get my garden really cranking and become more self-sufficient.
Love what you are doing my friend
Another question please……can the blue shop paper towels work for wicking or maybe old white tee shirts?
Great video and ideas. I eat mixed nuts from Sam's Club…they come in nice square containers just like dog treats. I got a bunch saved up for growing.
Can anyone address my concerns about growing micro greens and the possibility of salmonella or other pathogens? I’ve read that this is a possibility even with home grown greens.
Do you prefer grow pads vs dirt? Is there a benefit?
Awesome ideas on all kinds of containers that can be used. So many throw away fast food containers that can be used to grow some amazing micro greens! You always have the best information Mr. Mike. Stay safe and hope you and Mrs. Keely has a great weekend!
I used freezer dinner bowls just the other day to sprout some black beans and wheat! The bowls fit nicely in gallon bags, too.
I actually germinated by filling the bowl with water to the point of coming up over the seeds and then straining (by lifting strainer and dumping water) about 8 hrs later.
I've got 3 of the green ones, but last week I went back and got a blue one. I think I like the blue better. It looks darker. ';D

How long do seeds last for?
