  1. Could you show a pic of the steamfresh frozen dinner box. That container looks perfect for growing mung bean sprouts. Thanks. Oh, I am having trouble finding pool noodles. Any suggestions or do you sell them all nice and sliced?

  2. Have you tried vinegar instead of bleach. I Googled & found this.
Vinegar can also be used to rid of algae. Use a mixture of water and white vinegar to spray down the area and kill the algae.

  3. We buy some things in dollar store too we adjust and fix it up to the plant.
We already plant some inside the house because the weather is colder in Canada.
    Thank You very much.

  4. Its pretty cool that you are still doing the micro's Mike. No drought or fires here in Australia this year, so I am excited to get my garden really cranking and become more self-sufficient.
Love what you are doing my friend
    Blessings.
    Marty

  5. Can anyone address my concerns about growing micro greens and the possibility of salmonella or other pathogens? I’ve read that this is a possibility even with home grown greens.

  6. Awesome ideas on all kinds of containers that can be used. So many throw away fast food containers that can be used to grow some amazing micro greens! You always have the best information Mr. Mike. Stay safe and hope you and Mrs. Keely has a great weekend!

  7. I used freezer dinner bowls just the other day to sprout some black beans and wheat! The bowls fit nicely in gallon bags, too.

I actually germinated by filling the bowl with water to the point of coming up over the seeds and then straining (by lifting strainer and dumping water) about 8 hrs later.

  8. I've got 3 of the green ones, but last week I went back and got a blue one. I think I like the blue better. It looks darker. ';D
