This is a reload. I had video quality issues during the last upload. Hello Everyone! This is the ultimate compact REAL hybrid hydroponic aeroponic nutrient film technique system. This is the logical upgrade from my previous Plain 2 Grow Systems passive designs.
It is an ACTIVE, RECIRCULATING hydro system. I have been working on this design for several months and it has been tested using a bush / garden bean plant; beans are notorious for being sensitive to moisture and root disease issues. This video shows the successful growth of a bean plant from seed to fruiting using the latest Plain 2 Grow System design.
I plan to try all the other vegetables I have passively grown in this new active system, and also some new plants.
Watch the video and you’ll see how easy, inexpensive, simple, and compact this amazing system is. There are no moving parts except for the air pump. No precision valves, pumps, or other complexities. It basically uses all the previous bits and pieces of the Plain 2 Grow passive milk jug growing system.
I hope to have the bigger, better PVC pipe greenhouse finished soon and I should be able to put at least twenty of these jugs into the greenhouse.
This system is very conservative of water and nutrients and most of it is made from recyclable and reclaimable materials. Of course, this system lends itself to user design change and innovation, so feel free to change it and come up with something even better!
