The 4" pipe is a good idea. I have used 2 liter bottles before but with the pipe you can cut to length. I always wanted to join more than 1 2 liter bottle together. I was thinking that you could use a 2 liter or 3 liter bottle to extend the downspout water capacity. Although it does not look like you need it 🙂 I was looking to use a 2 or 3 liter bottle to extend a 5 gallon buckets water supplies
