#NoWeedGarden #BreedingVegetables In this episode, I’m in the no-fuss garden talking about my breeding goals and expectations. I’m going to cross eggplant, okra, and melon. I’m also evaluating squash and peppers. No-fuss gardening utilizes a weed-barrier and is watered/fertilized with water-soluble fertilizer. The same same fertilizer I use in the greenhouse, I use out here. In fact, the method of growing is considered flow-to-waste hydroponically.

Hydroponic Gardening & More with Brent

The first zucchini that you showed that you said is the one you aren't particularly interested in, is the only one that I'd be interested. I'm working on breeding the Vining characteristic back into zucchini so it can be grown on a trellis.
WOW look at you making your own designer fruits. I thought of you today!!! I'm trying your fermenting on my cucumber seeds! I'll be roasting some Ancho Chilies tomorrow (collecting the seed). Then I'll can some Subway style Banana Peppers (Saving the seed). I love this part of growing! You ROCK!
I MUCH prefer non-vining squashes. That's why I love the Table King Acron. Grows on a compact plant like summer squash.
I like you're video bro how can I get the seeds
Awesome work Brent, the Madison cross with the Madison choice mother seems like the way to go
Wow Brent, I sure hope you keep good notes. You're so far off into this stuff, I think we're gonna have to have an interventions 🙂 No, you've really got some cool projects going on. Good thing we aren't neighbors, or I wouldn't be able to get anything done for sneaking over and looking at your projects 🙂
nice growing
Great video. I like your weed barrier cloth, at the end of the season could the holes be patched and new holes be used the next year or would a person have to use the same holes next year?
Very detail and as usual excellent review. I agree with you on the color difference. Both beautiful and wonderful work.
Great work mate!.. never a dull moment in your garden.
Looking forward to your work with the okra . The red 'uncle don?' Is amazing to look at 😎🌱
