This is more information about my breeding practices. I’ve decided to name my wonderful squash “Madison’s Cross” after my daughter Madison. She loves squash and often did taste tests for me through the years breeding trials. This was her favorite. It is a superior quality straightneck type yellow squash that has fruit ready to harvest after 35 days. I appreciate those who paid an interest in naming it! I really do.

35 days is phenomenal Brent. Very hard to beet for a squash.

Looks like you are getting to where you were trying to go. 35 days to maturity is pretty impressive. Selective breeding even works with animals. And powdery mildew resistance is icing on the cake. Now if you can just train it to swat squash vine borers 🙂
After all your accomplishments, including greenhouse, FAWN system, other hydroponic systems, heated grow space, and more, it is nice to see that topped by the shared experience of developing this squash variety with your daughter.I really enjoy yellow summer squash and am glad to see the success you're experiencing stabilizing this cross.Great job!
What about a summer squash resistant to squash bugs and squash vine borers? Is that possible? That plant would be worth mucho dinero.

Hey Brent my name is Casey I commented earlier on the fill of the fawn system. I will be running the same system very shortly. And I apologize, but i just wanna make sure, that you fill from the top only with drop, met it run down into the rain gutter and back into you sump tank.
