Can I use 10 gallons of water in this system considering it's only 4 plants? I just can't and won't believe that it takes 23 gallons to feed 4 plants

Would u have to lift the lid/tray off to change water in the res?
How big of a plant can it hold how often do u need to change the water make a video showing this stuff if u want to sell it use it
