QUICK QUESTION
On your pak choi / bok choy wall, the other lettuce thats in thr middle and on the top levelb what kind is that one? Just curious as i have maybe 20 something different brassicas and am starting a succession line indoors since my zone is between 4a-5a and my beardies collards and kale are outdooors uncovered at this point. Friday I'll be getting some plastic for a hoop hut and a hinge type top to be able to open'er up and cut as I need.(that will be limited, I know) which is why I'm dtarting winters crop indoors. Any tips for an indoor system would be great!
1 side question wondering if you know of anyone selling just a bit of masterblend or if anyone WOULD be willing to sell a bit in baggies for a small kratky lettuce container. Its a little over 1 qt, my sons and I dont think hes gonna stick with it for as long as he thinks. I'd like'em to but his ADHD KNOWS otherwise. Lol. Always on the go and never so much as enough time to wash his hands. (He does or his chair isnt at the table- unless I hear the sink and soap) appreciate the tips!
I'm digging back through some of your videos for some exta planting tips to start indoors for my lizards winter crop. Hes never eaten store bought food and I dont necessarily feel comfortable giving it to him. As long as I keep my system nice and warm I'm sure I'll be alright.
Iβm from the Philippines.Iβve been watching your videos. I started growing hydroponically (mainly aeroponics) and Iβm using foam to hold the plant. My concern now is that there are algae growing on the foam and probably competing with the nutrient solution causing my lettuces to grow slowly. How do you deal with this problem?Thank you very much.
What does pak choy taste like anyway?
If I should decide to grow in net pots how much of the net pot has to be under the water? I am having trouble with water levels. I was under the impression that as the roots grow the water level falls, but my water level falls and the plants die.
nice sunglasses
Mike, why is it that my peppers do great but when I do lettuce, it does well until it's about 2 inches tall, then dies?
Nicely done. Good content. Excellent production

Thank you for taking time to share! You are a great help!
I am not sure where I got the ratio from for the hydroponic fertilizer. I am using the master blend just like you but I mixed it 12-12-10. My question is should I leave it that way, or should I make a new mixture for my lettuce, cucumber and tomato? One head of lettuce is fairly big (Butter Crunch) the other seems to have stopped growing (Butter Head). The tomatoes seem health but not growing a lot. I was wondering if the nutrients could be causing that. All the plants look healthy. Any feedback would be great. Thanks for all the videos they are great keep em coming!! I would have posted a few pics but you can't here on youtube. I do have an Instagram where they are posted I can share that if you would like. π I am using the Kratky method.

I find all of your videos interesting and entertaining Mike. Hope to see you a lot in 2019. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Another thing that I like to focus on with my videos is how to solve problems before they happen, by focusing on growing soil live, building organic matter. I just did a video on biochar and how that can help balance soils, store water and nutrient. Remember that the best way to solve problems is by addressing the root cause, and not having the problem in the first place! You get there by focusing on next years soil, not this years plants. Check me out, and we can learn from each other. Keep making your videos!
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
I enjoy the videos. They always give me new ideas.
Hello from SF, your pal choy looks so healthy. The rain diluted my nutrient reservoir, I have to figure out how much nutrients I need to add in . Happy Holidays
