In this video, I have finished the top rails and demonstrate how to place the boards on the frame. I use a nail gun with galvanized nails, but you can also use screws. Screws will take longer, but will be more secure.

You can use Woodglut to build it in the cheapest way.
I mistakenly used a brad nailer when I did my fence obviously I'm having pickets back out now… what type of nail gun do I need for the pickets? A lot of what I read online says 2 inch framing nailer but there's no way at 2 in nail is not going to stick out the other side sense the pickets are less than half an inch and a two-by-four is technically only an inch and a half wide. Thoughts?

Great build!!! — However, read this please: The difference between level and plumb lies in orientation. When something is "level," it's straight from side to side, like a shelf that's been properly installed. When something is "plumb," it's straight up and down, like the walls of a building or a fence post or picket. — Ahhhhhhhh it's been said.

I used screws on mine that sucker will never fall apart.Wear a pouch,load er up with screws and keep the extra battery on the charger.I also built myself a jig for top and bottom so its spaced on both at same time.

Nice fence, I'm going to do the same as you only metal posts covered with wood,. Question: with your first picket installed flush with post, could you use your spacer for top and bottom alignment instead of a level?
I've heard that no matter how well you put in your fence posts, the wood ones will always rot. Is that true?

You could have measured the overhang of the last board and divided that by nine(spaces). Then cut that off of your cheater block.
Boy that is one huge fencing project. I pray you do well with it. It already looks like it's going to be a great fence. I love how it's taller than what you usually see.
Brent: By the time you are finished your right forearm will be bigger than your left. Was it sore after the first day? A nail gun is the only way to go doing that job. It is going to look great when you are finished.
