After taste, I target production and that’s what this video is all about–picking vegetables that will produce measurably for the gardener. Both of these plants you see in the video are choices made from about 10 plants for this particular generation. I believe these two will make it to the finish line and add to my backyard breeding accomplishments.

Good producer that pepper. Never tried zucchini what type of recipe/cooking method works the best with zucchini? Do zucchini work as a compact plant or do you have to trim them back a lot?
Cheers
Harold
wish i had the time and experience to breed. another great video 🙂
It is fun watching your breeding and seed saving. Once you get a variety that you bred and like all the characteristics of, do some traits pop back up and surprise you in later plantings?
Wow, really gorgeous peppers you have here. Super happy for you.
How old was this pepper tree?
So is this pepper hotter than jalapeños or does it have less heat? Good video bro:)
Morning Mate !
I like the scoville rating on the California Brian ! .. perfect for a wimpy chilli Greek guy like me 😉..
As always Brent – Your work is awesome!
Great video Brent! Those peppers have a beautiful color to them, I'm getting hungry now lol thanks for sharing and as always Keep Building👍
I think you have a couple of winners there! That pepper reminds me a lot of the Santa Fe Grande, except maybe bigger. Man, that Zucchini really wanted to make squash, lol. Yep, they're keepers 🙂
nice production going on there
that is an impressive amount of fruits on those pepper plants, really enjoyed seeing this thank you!
