Starting Hydroponic Tomatoes in the Dutch Bucket System

Starting Hydroponic Tomatoes in the Dutch Bucket System

We started the hydroponic tomatoes in the dutch bucket system. They took about a month to be big enough. We have another batch that should be ready to go in the buckets in a few weeks. These were planted in a perlite/vermiculite growing medium and they get vine crop nutrients. After the tomatoes, I did a little walk around the greenhouse and showed a couple things. There is a quick time lapse of the green beans. Then we watched Dad move some wood, checked on the desktop NFT system, and I ended with some good news on the old John Deere snowmobile. Stay tuned for more tomatoes videos as they grow. They need a lot of care, but they are a good crop. Thanks for watching!
