Very nice seed starting mix. Great info Brent.
My Borage tray has grown. They are Great! Texture and look of sunnies but a better cucumberey taste. Mine werent bitter. I got the seed from Todds……its a pretty dirty seed like sunflower so I rinsed well….and sprayed H202 for first 4 days…..
The hulls come off well when you wash them like you do outside…..and I didnt weight them down. Worked out fine with no weight.
Mine were about 8-9 days.
You gotta do a borage grow. If you like sunnies these should be a new favorite.

You don't add any compost or beneficial ingredients to it like manure, or worm castings?
Why did you chose peat moss not Coco coir (I'd assume it is also available)?
Saved the link. I'm buying the $5. Seed Starting Mix now, but when I get some land I will be making my own. I've missed you Brent. I've been so busy lately. I've got some Peppers and Basil started and ready to pot up. I'm juggling a boat load of flower seeds this year. And I'd really like to stock up on herbs. Ahhh I'm in deep! LOL. Anyhow- I hope you have your "plan of action" ready and feel a lot more organized than I do right now! Ha! Peace.
