This is the next generation of my pepper plant dehybridization project. It’s a very prolific Santa Fe type pepper of mild heat somewhere between 300-500 Scoville (best guess). Peppers are right at 3″, start at cream-lime, then a vibrant orange and finally, a bright red. It’s weird ’cause it seems to be only one of those colors vs noticeably transitioning along the color scale. I really like the taste of these and am quite proud of how it’s going so far. :O)
