Can you reuse the hemp mat?
I'm trying the mats with broccoli as growing them in jars is sometimes not successful especially if I forget to change the water twice a day… I'm planning on eating them but some I would like to transplant to the downspouts if the mat doesn't cause problems with the roots.
I just subscribed to your channel! I think I saw your downspout systems on Etsy! By the way, where can we get those double containers that fit into each other, and do you have a video about setting them up?
Can you use Vermiculite instead of soil? Do they need the soil to keep growing or do you add nutrient solution to the water after sprouting?

Mike, your sprouts look AWESOME! What type of soil are your using for the sprouts that are utilizing the wicking system? Is it just regular potting soil? Do you think the hemp mat would work using that method also? Would it wick up water using the paper towels?

Ever tried the swamp cooler fiber mats??? They're made of wood fiber and seem like a possibility…
