Hi i need some help huhuhu about my arowana. My arowana keeps on sinking 🙁
JOEY…?? YOU HELD HIM IN A DRY TOWEL, AT THE BEGINNING OF THE LAST VIDEO I THOUGHT TO MYSELF "WHY HAS HE RAPPED HIM IN A DRY TOWEL? TBH YOU STILL HAVE NOT MENTIONED THE FACT WHILE TELLING US ABOUT THE PROBLEMATICAL SLIME COAT – THAT YOU RAPPED HIM IN A DRY TOWEL? MORAL OF THE STORY " RAP THEM IN SOMETHING WET (no hate though bro, I just thought a man of your experience and intelligence would of known to RAP HIM IN A WET TOWEL)

Tbh walking into a room with a giant fish tank with a huge fish like that would be awesome, but walking up to it and realizing there’s schools of tiny fish in with it would be cooler than just having so many it’s obvious. Just a really beautiful detail I think you should keep it like this.
Do you think about buying silver arowana?
I thought Asian arowana are illegal in the US

Sorry to say that eye doesn't look much better, it was probably not worth the risk of the fish. Also if the towel was wet it would help not to take off so much lime coat
Do you have a video of his eye before and after? Was it definitely a success. I have a Arowana with drop eye caused by fighting with large datnoid

Weight the lid down, Arowana will jump, especially if stressed due to breeding. I'd of moved the 3rd none breeding arowana into another tank. lid needs to be weighted down.. Can't wait to see if the surgery works, I hope does

Are the arowana related to arapima
Not sure if you do or you mentioned it but, wetting your hands while handling the fish can decrease the loss of slime and help to inhibit that growth of bacteria. Anyway love the vids

Do you have any plans to take on octopi? I know those are quite advanced so this it just extreme forsight on my part seeing as how i have no aquarium experience.
I really want an octopus one day, nothing large and ideally id like to be able to house it with other animals as well. But i dont know anything about keeping them or their temperaments
