  1. I love your videos! No matter what I'm searching for, I end up on your channel. I'm trying the sandfall but I dont think my marina75 is enough, or maybe the sand is wrong(i got pool filter sand, but it's just not doing what your's does

  2. I know you can't use pond sealer right on styrofoam because it will melt the foam but I was thinking about using it over the concrete mix after it's dry. Do you think that would work without melting it inside the concrete? Also, are there any paints out there that are fish friendly?

  3. Hey. I'm 14 and I now have an obsession with fish. I have one 10 gallon tank and two goldfish. I've watched a lot of your videos and I love all of em. 🙂  It seems like you have
/a lot/ of fishtanks. I was wondering if maybe you could send me a filter? I really want more fish but for now I can only buy Goldfish… I don't really have the money to purchase a filter, :/ Do you have one you're not using? If you don't, It's alright. Thanks for reading this though. 🙂

  4. First – love your videos.  So many simple affordable ideas.  I love DIY and your videos provide a lot of jumping off points for my own projects.  Thanks for doing this and I hope it provides you with some returns as well.

Second – the sandfall…  Been considering this for a while, just for the sheer fun of it.  My one question is – doesn't the sandfall require fairly still water in the rest of the tank in order to actually fall downwards?  I've got a fair bit of current in my cichlid tank and I'm afraid a "sandfall" would turn into a "sandstorm"…

  5. Just in time Joey! I am setting up a super-combo!  IN-Tank filter, behind a 3D background, with a sand fall.
On top I want to grow plants that feed from the entire section after the mechanical filtering.
Will all be based on your videos.
