I want to see em PUFF
Where can I get that background
How do you feel about having a carpet of plants in a fahaka tank? I have my little 4” in a 75 gallon, want to do a bit of a planted tank. I have 25% flora max (gravel size) in the tank so that plants can grow a bit better, the rest is sand. not sure if the chonk will like having a carpet vs sand and also if the flora max is okay for him to have in his tank
Its a beauty..!! 😍
Hey joey arent you worried about the black mould that is built up in your old water change hose. I was just wondering because I was worried that it would infect my fish so I took a baby bottle brush attached in to a clothes hanger and brushed it out. Just wondering your thoughts on it
Nice Joey Yu always do a great job for the fish you keep
Can You put a mbu puffer un the biggest tank whit the arowanas? Please, saludos desde Argentina.
Is that a mbu puffer?
Joey living my best life
Great tank joey for the beautiful puffer. Again great job as always mate and the space for the filter iis is amazing
I’ve only just started watching this channel again but since when did he get a new arowana? Cus the only reason I really stopped watching the channel was because buddy passed away. RIP buddy🙏🏼😇
Love it
Do you know much about turtle tanks and filters?
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE FILTER. I'm thinking of getting a puffer and name him Mr. T from one of my favorite childhood shows however inspired by Tyrees.
For a while now it’s been driving me crazy, Joey reminds me of someone but I couldn’t my finger on who until just now, does he remind anyone else of the Doctor when he just pulls out random pieces of things and puts together something really cool and brushes it off as nothing? Because he really had some Doctor who vibes going today
I always think its cool how your mind works when it comes to creating amd scaping all the aqua worlds in your aquariums 🐟
Love it Joey, very old school joey 😍😍 just boom simple and perfect , no over complicating things , no need for expensive equipment, this is why you're the King of DIY👌👌
Just wondering if you think you'll need fine filtration at some point to remove fines from the water?
Joey, thanks for a really great video. It reminds me of your old videos, where you show everyone how they can do things on the cheap and earned your DIY title. While not everyone has a bunch of old equipment laying around the way some of us do, this video also helps folks see how they can give new life to old aquarium stuff they can find at garage sales, flea markets, CraigsLists, etc. Lots of folks make videos showing how you can repurpose flower pots, 5 gallon buckets, pot scrubbers, and other stuff for filters and the such, but you can often find used aquarium stuff that costs even less to buy and fix up.
While we love your beautiful 120 gallon tanks in the gallery that are drilled for premium sump filtration setups, I am looking forward to your new 40 gallon tanks to show folks simple and inexpensive ways to set up their own 10 to 55 gallon tanks that aren't drilled for overflows and sumps. You did a great job with this tank showing that inexpensive, simple, and easy to maintain filters don't have to look ugly.
Augh
Should you not have silicones up the sides of the filter “background”? That way the water would have to be pulled up via the bottom (assuming that the top is above water level), ensuring that it would flow over the media rather than right over it. Just a thought.
JOEY!!! More videos like this one! I’m so intrigued with this video! Love it!!
Is that return pump backwards? It looks inverted.
Edit
I see it works… what type of pump is that?
hey joie is it your hoss hossai
Hey everyone was wondering if you can help me please what UV Light would I need for a 700 litre fish tank ? With African cichlids in ?
I love his eyes, they just say Luv Me!!
And anyone else notice his eyes move independently like a chameleons? I've noticed this every since I've seen the little guys a while back when I was 4
brother that is good content. like all true enthusiasts, a DIY as your brain is thinking of an idea and making it happen. thank you!
