Do wet/Dry Trickle Filters (called Shower Filters in Great Brittan) do anything that actually removes Nitrates? Or like most other filtration approaches, do they do everything but that? ..Why doesn't the Aquarist hobby borrow from Aquaponics and employ Centrifugal 'Spin Down' pre-filtration to remove most waste solids Before their other mechanical and Biological filtration stages? Youtube reference video is titled "Aquaponic radial flow filter for solids removal.."

And pond vac to.clean it out and carbon
