Why a filter?
Hi there, it's been more than 5 months since I am planted my hairgarss in my tank. However it's nothing growing or even opening. I have an blue led, liquid plant fertilizer but no growth. Could you kindly give me some advice on how to get the carpet?
so no fertilizers at all ? just substrate light and co2?

Very nice and simple tank, I've planted my dwarf hairgrass for 2 weeks without C02, the roots grow very slowly to the level that they don't anchor to the soil at all, 8 hours light per day, the grass shows no sight of dying, they look green and healthy, just the leaves and roots don't grow much, in your experience, is it normal for this plant to grow that slowly in a non CO2 environment?

Hi first time I watched it. I loved it. I have seen many videos in my own language but every body tried to explaining unwanted details. Yours is simple. I am new in this field for hobby, I have a small aquarium, but no fishes yet. Just have some grass established.

instead of adding CO2 to a planted tank, I'd rather have a low tech reef with soft corals at the same price point

I'm on week 7 of my planted nano tank. I used the same substrate, dwarf baby tears, S. Repens and dwarf swords love it!
