in my experience, gouramis are much more confident with more plants near the water's surface. Floating plants with dangling roots or just stem plants that grow tall make them much braver to venture out. If you toss some anacharis to float, they will probably spend the day next to it munching on the leaves.

Lion fish would be the only saltwater fish i would want.
Try ATM colony….. It cycled my tank in days.
3 dwarf lionfish a puffer and a snowflake would be perfect for your tank

call your boy at bashsea use his twisted skimmers on the saltwater tanks they are really nice! maybe bioreactors too.
The last 2 tanks should both be salt one reef one fish only would round out everything nicely

PEARL GOURAMIS will come out if you add floating plants Joey. They seem to like low light. Mine are always out and not skittish at all. Keep up the badass work brother
