HI Joey. Just wanted to say its really refreshing seeing someone who, lets be honest, is one of the biggest aquarium / fishkeeper yourtubers, still actually caring what people have to say (cos people are gona say whatever is on their minds cos youtube) but still having the care to explain your decision making from a perspective of trying to educate. I understand it must be so difficult to keep everyone happy, but you seem like you really care not only about your animals, but also about your audience, and their education. Sounds like im kissing ass, but yeah its refreshing and i Salute you. Awesome video dude.

Cool! I was wondering about the sand and now that you explained it it makes a lot of sense. The animals are priority over the aesthetic. 👍🏼
i think the tank works out good i like the rock work doesn't have to be a very flashy setup. i go for function over anything when i setup a new system
Hey Joey. Great Video, man! I love that you are making saltwater aquarium videos now. I never skip your vids. I have a question for you: Why is it that not many saltwater fish are captive bred? To my knowledge, captive bred fish do a lot better in aquariums. Is there not many breeders out in the hobby?
Yeah they might not require sand to exist and function. But, you could argue that sand is an enrichment to appeal to their natural behaviour. Which is something that usually (and amongst other factors ) is used in estimating and or "scoring" animal welfare.
