The fish for this tank: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyoWXPpcYCg
Looks incredible JM lol
Does the sump have filter socks? How do you clean them or do you just buy new ones?
Absolutely love the layout! 🙂
Salt water is good for you to cover so peeps can see how it works! Though Reef are more my style and way more super fun. 😛
I wonder if it would be better to glue the rocks together with a bare bottom. I’ve always depended on the substrate to anchor the base of my rocks. It’s very important to have stability if you’re growing coral, but maybe not so much in a fowler tank. (Fish only with live rock). Many corals sting each other and separation is very important.
Look forward to the salt water tanks
which light on the tank?
The scape looks great. You could definitely run a soft coral tank though rather than fish only tank. Minimal effort and you may as well make good use of those lights!
Interesting too see just rocks & fish in & not the whole set up I guess I'm just use to my set up lol.
Whaaat so are you not going to get snails or crabs or anything then like a clean up crew ? They need sand , sand doesn't cause that many problems yeah you can run into some algae problems but your rock can also get red algae.
The tank looks great. I like how simple it looks
The Scaping looks awesome
I believe that you mean to say that the rocks and blocks will be "inhabited" not "inhibited." There is a difference in their meanings.
A Emperor Snapper would look cool in this
Joey what happened to Bruce! I loved that fish
Wow the scape looks amazing joey so natural mate the fish are gonna look amazing in it. The sump looks great to ideal for the tank… Can't wait to see the fish in this awesome aquaruim
Yay welcome to salty !!
What if you thing did you art of work?
I like it
honestly those saltwater lights make that freshwater tank pop and look better
algae skimmer and filter roll needed
why no coral
You see the giant one Andy’s built? We posted videos of the tangs angels and triggers being fed. Check it out. Love the tank Joey a gonna look great.
I would recommend getting your chaeto from a place like algae barn, that way you don't get any surprises with your algae.
I always just throw mine in and move it after if I don't like it
Hi Joe nice video, can you please tellme if is your 375 acrylic tank sitting directly on the plywood or over some kind of foam? And what kind of foam willbe better? Thanks
you cant get diamond gobies or jaw fish because you don't have sand
Glad you're doing salt, that's cool. But I just cant get behind bare bottom tanks. They look terrible. I know easier to keep clean, but they dont look good
I've always wanted to get into salt but…..lets see if you convince me. 😉
WE LL DONE JOEY nothing looks better then a reef tank once bitten….you will be hooked lol good luck from the uk
Is it usual glass or acrylic?
I think the word you were meaning to say is inhabited, inhibited means something else entirely. Word police out!
I wanna see some sharks! 🙂
Your literally like a little kid in a candy shop.. but your an adult in a fishroom😂😂😂
