The king of DIY

Hi, can you put the measure of your stand?
thanks
As someone with a little flat where every possible space is needed, the idea of a hollow aquarium-stand kinda breaks my heart.
Nice built tho.
I love the old videos just as much as I love the new ones.
Kinda like there’s a season 1 and a season 2 of The king of DIY.
That stand actually looks awesome!
how come you didnt glue the light strips down with a glue gun??
we got a heater in our garage while we work..there are so many heaters out there these days to choose from..
why not silicone the LED lights in place?
Good man. Do what your wife says. Wife is always right. 🙂
would using sylicone work for holding the light strips in place?
Your wife has great taste!
Suggestion! You can use a Glue-gun to stick your LEDs.
how will these lights be for plant growth?
is there a reason to tape the light strips in, instead of using silicone?
Can you have a video on DIY LED aquarium lighting setup? What to buy etc.
For a 17 inch cube tank, would you use the same wood 2×3 ?
CANADAFTW!! And march didnt have anysnow its fucking hot asf
Hey, I was wondering if you could give me your opinion on how large of an overflow box I should have for a 240 gallon with South American Cichlids? Thanks
nice
why don't you silicone the led lights on? done this in the past with very good results
Stand looks great
next time try using some clear silicone to hold the LED's to the hood instead of using any kind of tape.
hi joey. hope you can make some videos on how to propagate aquatic plant trimming and small HOB filter thanks .
Hey Joey. While making the light fixture, is using a super glue possible for securing the LED strips to the rain gutter an option?
That's awesome! I hope one day I'll be able to build a setup similar to this.
Also, I never knew you lived in Canada, but I can definitely agree with the fact that it's been a brutal winter (at least here in Toronto it has)
That aquarium stand looks incredible.
I love it! Can't wait for part 3.
For the leds you could also get a piece of acrylic or plexi glass, cut to size, drill pilot holes, and bolt it to the fixture. Assuming the light would be in a canopy of course. They'd never fall down. Either way, love the videos you post, this is what the hobby is all about.
Hey man I'm a huge fan of all your projects. I'm a young fish keeper and have already had 32 different tanks. I've started a fish group on Facebook to prove that younger people can know just as much as experts like you, I'd live to get one up on the others to have someone like you join my group. Let me know if you're interested
Personally. I want to see those leds mounted on a glass surface. Giving it a ada look. The curve on the strip might make it a little challenging, hence why you are the perfect one for this project. Lol.
Any thoughts?

I can't even make a Lego house
love that stand
Stand and tank look awesome 🙂 can;t wait to see it all done with fish in it 🙂
Hey new subscriber here and I must say the sand waterfall is amazing. Also I looked at your book and noticed it was only an e-book, do you plan on making it an actual physical book or will it always be an ebook?
i live in canada to oh and by the way im 9 i like fish alot
Love the trim on the stand-base, really dresses things up !
Looking to be a stunning setup @The king of DIY cant wait to see next weeks. Given me plenty of inspiration lately 🙂
Hey Joey instead of a roof gutter style canopy why don't you apply the led strips to a flat white acrylic top and have the leds sit on another pc of clear acrylic? It'll control the evaporation sound and smell a bit and it'll look flush and contemporary
Good team work with wifey 😉
Great looking stand Joey!
You can also use silicon to secure the led lights for a cleaner look. I have done this and it works great. Plus with just taping them, evaporated water will eventually make the tape come free.
Man This videos are awesome I have learned so much😄
I agree with you on the weather conditions it's been brutal I also live in Canada.
Best advice you ever gave. "Do what your wife tells you." lol
Make this a Planted Tank or a Chichlid tank It will look very nice… Can't wait for next weeks video… Thanx
Joey, when you need really great double sided tape for projects like this, use "3M Automotive Double Sided Tape". You can pick up a small roll of it very cheap and it is super strong. This is what car makers apply body trim pieces with, so it works great in different temperatures and around water.
Stand came out great bro. Good job! Glad to hear your wife is involved with it. 👍
Joey should try cichlids or a brackish tank
Can't wait to see it all put together ….
I can tell this is gonna look awesome, great job!
I want a king of diy t shirt
