Liner up or down ???

I know this comment is late compared to the upload date, but if anybody was wondering the white powder on the liner is most likely talcum powder a nontoxic powder used to prevent gloves, balloons, and other stuff from sticking to itself
Very awesome, the only problem i have is that it's a square, when I DIY stuff i like to think out side the box 😉
I understand the limitation with wood, but why not an L shape?

I love the pond build! I'm building a 12' by 6' pond 3' deep in my basement for big catfish.
For a construction guy, you messed up your PPE. Where are your hard toed boots?? But, I loved this.

The powder is usually "French Chalk" (Talcum powder). Non toxic.

Just shipping powder they use to keep rubber from sticking to itself during shipping or high heat situations. And makes unfolding it much easier as rubber loves to grab against itself unless treated. I doubt its poisonous as its meant to be in contact with human skin and respiratorty and eyes. And if it was a problem they would post all kinds of warnings. However since its the liner for a fish pond its always best to rinse the liner off no matter what it was shipped with just to be safe.
