I'm glad that you have this channel. I recently got some pet fish ( a Three spotted Gaurami, and a fiddler crab.) Thanks to research, and your videos i found out… I WAS DOING EVERYTHING WRONG!!! First of all, I had gravel, which is okay for the fish, but I found out this can damage, or even break the crabs legs. Also, I had a normal tank full of water, and just plants. Fiddler crabs need water AND land. The worst thing of all is i had a 2 inch fish, and a fiddler crab in a 1 Gallon tank. I felt so horrible, but luckily, 1 day later, my sister spent $130 on 2 tanks, decor, and proper supplies. This comes to show you should always do your homework before getting a pet, whatever it may be.

The beta ate the shrimp
An idea I do when I do my water changes is put a net over the suction so if the animal goes towards it will get stuck on the net and not go through and die so that's just an idea
I feed my betta swamp shrimp, why betta don't eat that shrimp?

I have that same tank with shrimp also in it. I lost a shrimp and some fry thru the filter, I found the holes are too large.
