Is the Ornate Bichir aggressive? I have an albino Senegal and I'm thinking of getting him a friend but I'm not sure if I should go with a Senegal or try getting an Ornate.
Where is the study on the evidence of polytperus living 360mya? Lots of people talk about how they’re ancient but I cannot find any sources.

If anyone is interested in the bishir amphibian thing there is a video of scientists raising bishir on land with care similar to an amphibian and the results are surprising and really cool

What are the odds that I go to a new fish store today just to look at the fish and I took a few pictures of the ones I liked to do some research on them when I got home. Well watched this video and looked through my pictures and I was like wait a minute…. one of the ones I took a picture of was a Bichir!!! Too funny!
Bichirs are pretty mellow. I’ve never seen an aggressive Bichir first hand.
