  1. Awesome video and tanks! Joey you mention in getting some tetra with blue coloring. How about some blue king tetras/Cochu's Blue Tetra (common names)?
    Scientific name: Boehlkea fredcochui

  2. Don't be impatient and let the plants do their thing. It will be far more rewarding once they're grown in and will be a lot less of a hassle than dredging it up and moving everything over.

  3. Yes, in fact this video did brighten my day. I love watching you, and your very informative videos. Your knowledge of the hobby impresses me. Thanks for sharing your passion.

  4. Dear Joey,
I love you work and the reason why you have build the gallery.
But I have to admit that I don't like the idea of the type of fish you want to keep in the future. I am a bit sad to see you just putting cichlid related fish (cichlids, angle fish, discus etc.) in the tank. I would love to see some tanks with barbs, some small snakeheads (e.g. channa bleheri), some catfish etc.. It is your gallery, it is your big dream but this was something i noticed for some time. But still keep on going, beeing inspirational for so many people in the hobby.
    Greets Max

  5. Vals usual stop growing when newly planted. They first develop roots and loose leaves. For me it always took 4-6 weeks before I saw fresh leaves growing and runners being developed. I would keep the vals.
