You can never have too much filtration! (I don’t agree)… and here is why.

The king of DIY

The reason I'm here is because my aquarium has 70L and my filter processes 500L an hour.
Would a 100-250 gallon filter be too much for a 75?
Your vids are great and so educational! I have a unique use case I was hoping you could provide some input on. I want to make a waterfall feature in a vivarium that houses a tropical arboreal snake. I was thinking I would have an area that ponds to tackle humidity and be a source of drinking water, maybe put a few small fish in at some point. I want the system to be a closed one but my concern is filtration to ensure the water is potable for the snake. What type of filtration would you recommend between the pond and waterfall pump?
love the gallery. love the 2000G. Love the king. But always come back to oldies for advice!
1000/gph pool pump on a 36 gallon tank… to much?
I have 2 normal filters running on a 10 gallon tank with 2 gold fish in it… is that ok? I also made this thingy to slow down the flow of the water coming out the filter since it makes the current super strong in i ok?
Sir, i have eheim 1264 in my sump and use 5ft x 2.5ft x 2.5ft. Is it sufficient? My tank floor alot detritus ;(
Another big thumbs up to ya with this video, thank you for giving us fish lovers so much! We appreciate ya!
Can you bring back this type in info dump video, super helpful
so i have a 80 and i'm looking at the top fin cf100 which is rated 60-100 gallon (150-270gph). Do you think this is good or should i go with something like an eheim ultra g160?
Would an FX4 be to much for a 75 gallon tank ?
Noice
Water changes are number one for me. You can never determine the balance for your tank. I keep track of ammonia mostly and clean debris off sponges.
I’m trying to properly get the nitrogen cycle happening for my two tanks which are over two months old. Each have a fx6 and eheim 2217 cannister on it as a backup but I’ve still got no AMONIA reading. Adding a lot of seachem stability. Interesting learning curve.
Smaller time but more often does not work? Yes it works. I run 500 liter with an 1200 liter pump. Works perfectly. Wouldnt do more but double works just fine
What do you do if you have an ammonia spike?
So how do you find out how much you really need. I have a 120 saltwater tank with around 10 or so fish. Tangs and angels and a few other small fish.
Can you explain me can i keep silver arowana on room temperature
he's right stop tossing your fish food inside the tank and leaving because most of that remaining fish food will float to the bottom. The way i feed my fish is one piece at a time, one fish pebble at a time If my fish cannot wait patiently he do not eat (kidding) he detroys that food but getting picky now.
that walabat advert before this video need to come down or find some other kind of audio because i get aggravated by that robot voice sounds terrible.
Yes I subbed. 👍
