Hey so um my betta fish is like nose diving into the gravel at the bottom of my tank but he still eats so I was wondering why he is doing that…

I had 2 fish recently whom had problems with their swimbladder. I gave them smaller container within the tank and tried the whole fast then feed pea thing. They died after about 5 days, nothing worked.
I think he has a broken bone

Hi Joey, I know this is already 3 yrs old, but are you sure buddy is a male? To me it looks like a female, judging from its small head and short pectoral fins.
If it was a female, there is a chance that she dies because she holding her eggs.
Watched this three years ago, rewatched just now. I think that fish was psychologically sensitive to the wave makers and panicked then ended up killing himself from stress and physical damage.
He was probably the type to like very calm waters.
