Hm I find to source heirloom seeds is to find old small Italian farmlets on outskirts of town they raise an grow from history of parentage an use an re use everything using unused stock for pickling or seed stock for following seasons seeds , asian farmlets usually use hybrid seeds. Not always I have been surprised an found some decent strawberries in asian farmlets. look around an you may be surprised in what you find in surrounding suburban rural areas
best intro ever
Can anyone please put me in contact with these cats?
Would an alligator work for aquaponics?🐊
👍
You are The best man Thank you for another amazing video
Can you add mycorrhizae to and aquaponics tank need answers
Brooklyn, we love Baker's Creek seeds! My chard and kale from them is amazing! I hope to buy their Tatsoi and Rice soon. Their website is http://www.rareseeds.com
Good Morning Brooklyn Saint Mikell. Great videos and astronomical information's.
I had a question, is it possible to add additional nutrients to the aquaponics system? Idea is to use bio/organic fertilizers into mineralization tank. Will it effect the fish or its growth due to the fertilizers?
Good Morning Brooklyn Saint Mikell, Great information. You Rock
Dealing with solid waste mineralization brings up another question. You did a vid with Paul at AST in which he demonstrates a mineralization tank that he runs through a "decoupled" system. What is up with that? What's the process and approach. What are the advantages and disadvantages of that type of system.
My fist though was well then can't you run both using the regular system to POWER your DWC, NFT or other system and the concentrates from mineralization to POWER the growth in the decoupled system increasing the total output of the fish you are limited to.
I have a small area in an extreme climate i.e. the low desert of southwest Arizona. There is a lot of agribusiness out here but it demands a huge amount of water.
Water is life don't waste it if possible. I truly believe Aquaponics is the best way to go and if done properly it can grow just as many head of lettuce for far less water expenditure. It will take a while for humanity to get there but it is coming as water becomes more scarce.
I've been following you for several weeks if not months now. I would like to reach out and thank you for all that you've done in service to our country, and now aquaponics. I've learned a lot watching all of your videos and wanted to reach out and thank you.
Gee wiz man..😏You will always have my support! I've learned so much from your channel. Thank you! This made my day!🌞🌱
You were right on the money. I want quality seed (heirloom seeds). That's exactly what I needed to know! Thank you again Brooklyn for all your help!……"Brooklyn dis is my brooklyn accent..ha ha ha ha.
Peace✌
Great questions. And great information as always.
Thank you @BSM for reminding me to:
* fix your camera
* stop walking
* get myself a car
Lotsa great info!! Ty as always! Next time show us your plants. We never see your farm and your crops growing or your harvest. Do you also grow, or primarily teach?
What first got you into aquaponics?
Off topic but your video intros remind me of my favorite drill sergeant during basic training. When he was giving instructions or if you screwed something up he would get super animated and start waving his hands just like you do. 😂😂🤣🤣
Hello, You mentioned using your meneralized waste in an Aqua Ponic System. Do you currently do this? Is there a ratio to adding it to your system? How and where in the system should it be reintroduced? If building a New system what is the best design to use so I dont have to over think my design? Thanks for your time and Keep up the great work..
