CHEMICAL VS ELECTRONIC TESTING FOR AQUAPONICS

CHEMICAL VS ELECTRONIC TESTING FOR AQUAPONICS

This video discusses the differences between using a chemical analysis and electronic device to test various water parameters in Aquaponics. You’ll see which is best for you and your circumstance in this video.

  1. Is there a way to increase the water hardness without increasing the ph too much? I have a ph of between 7.6 – 7.8 but KH is about 71.6ppm.
How reliable is a ph meter? I have a small 10 gallon system and the solution test says 7.6 – 7.8 but the meter says 7.4. It is freshly calibrated.

  2. i think she ment to ask if its ok for the roots in the water to move around alot. like for example the bubble machine creats allot of turbulence which maybe is anoing for the plants. maybe they would rather like, somthing more of a still environment?

i see you got allot of bubbles in your dwc but maybe its not that drastically turbulent your water.

i think to grow duck weed you need the water to be calm, right?

  3. Enjoying all of your videos just a quick word of caution digital PH meters probe storage and calibration is key to making sure you're getting accurate information I have seen way too many applications we're chemical adjustments were made due to inaccurate information from a digital pH meter that wasn't properly stored and calibrated

  4. Thank you so much✨🌟💗🌟💜🌟✨

  5. All the chemical tests that I'm familiar with rely on color gradients. There has to be some phone app that can take a pic of the dip stick or test tube and tell you what it rates on the chart.
