Aquaponics

Aquaponics comprises a system of water circulating between plants and fish that seeks to optimize utilization of water, space, and nutrients for food production. It relies on a balance of microbes transforming nutrient-rich effluent from fish tanks into fertilizer for plants and, in turn, the plants cleaning the water as it recycles back to the fish.
