  1. Hey, Greg. The following statement has nothing at all to do with this particular video, but I was just cleaning one of my tilapia and thought of you. When you are cleaning them, after you get the main fillet off the bone, get in there with a good sharp knife and trim off any extra meat, like around the spine and that bit you have to cut out around the gill plate to get those y-bones out, and you can supplement some of your fish food with it. At least, I think you could. My bluegill ate it before the Tilapia even had a chance, but I think the Tilapia would eat it, too

  2. Hi Greg, I've watched a few of your videos, and find this really fascinating.. Wasn't aware anyone was doing fish farming on a smaller scale like this.. I can't help but wonder how feasible it may be regarding return on investment and how healthy the fish is to eat? What do you feed them? Is there any health concerns we should be aware of..? Please don't take my text here in the wrong way.. I think your videos and setup are awesome.. Just curious and thought I'd ask.. Best wishes!

  3. Aw man, I saw the title, thought you were going to show how you harvest the eggs! How do you get your mother tilapia to give up her eggs?

  4. Great video, I have one question though: Can the system be self sustaining? In other words, will my tilapia breed and grow as I eat a few of them each month, or will I need to set up a separate breeding colony even if I only want fish to feed my family a few times a week?

  5. Hi Sir,
I have my tilapia holding eggs for last 3 days. How do you decided when to put those eggs inside tumblers i.e is it after a week when she started holding eggs or we can put it inside the tumbler immediately after she is holding them?
